Your questions, answered.

Is the calendar really free?

Yes! Pop your email address in the form and we’ll send it straight to your inbox.

Who is it for?

Any UK business that posts on social media: shops, cafés, salons, gyms, charities, venues, councils, B2B firms and everyone in between. Pick from 14 niches and the planner pulls out the dates that suit you. International dates are in there too.

What format is it in?

It’s a spreadsheet (.xlsx) that works in Excel on Windows and Mac, and in Google Sheets. It has five tabs: Start here, Planner, Year at a glance, All dates and Content planner.

Which dates are included?

UK bank holidays for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, awareness days, weeks and months, religious and cultural festivals, big sport and entertainment events, shopping peaks like Black Friday, school dates, and the fun ones, like World Emoji Day.

How accurate are the dates?

We checked every date in October 2026. Each one is marked Confirmed (fixed, follows a set rule or has been announced) or Expected (follows the usual pattern or the moon), with a note on where to check nearer the time.

Can I add my own dates?

Yes. Add your launches, birthdays and events at the bottom of the All dates tab and they’ll show up in the planner and the calendar.

Can you do it for us instead?

Of course, that’s the day job. Book a discovery call and we’ll talk it through.

Want a hand with 2027?

We plan, post and manage social media for playful brands across the UK. If you’d rather hand it over, let’s talk.
