Social media for art festivals, light festivals and cultural events.

We plan, create and run the social media presence for cultural events and art festivals across the UK, from the first teaser to the final report. For councils, festival producers and arts organisations.

Who we work with.

Whoever is putting the festival on, we fit around your team, your partners and your funding. Think of us as an extension of your existing team!

Council culture and events teams

We work alongside your comms team and partner pages, so the festival and the council speak with one voice.

Festival producers

You focus on the artists and the build. We make sure people know it’s happening and turn up.

Arts organisations

Social media that does justice to the work, with clear numbers to show how it landed.

Town centre and BID programmes

Events that bring people into town, with content that shows it worked.

What’s included.

Every festival is different, so we shape the plan around yours. Most campaigns cover these three stages.

Around 8-12 weeks before

The build-up

  • Social media strategy and content plan
  • Channel set-up, or a tidy-up of the ones you have
  • Artist and installation reveals
  • Behind-the-scenes content from the build
  • Countdown posts and ticket or booking pushes
  • Replies to comments and messages

Every night you’re open

Festival week

  • On-site photos and video
  • Live stories with polls and questions
  • Live streams for people who can’t make it
  • Daily round-up reels
  • Real-time answers on routes, times, queues and weather

After the festival

The wrap-up

  • Highlight reel and thank-you posts
  • Round-up of visitors’ photos and posts
  • Results report with the numbers that matter
  • Recommendations for next year

Add what you need.

Optional extras you can add to any festival campaign.

Paid social ads

Targeted Facebook and Instagram ads to push ticket sign-ups and bookings.

Creator invites

Local creators and influencers invited to preview nights and festival week.

Training for your team

Social media training for staff and volunteers, so they can post with confidence.

Off-season content

Light-touch posting between festivals, so you don’t start from zero next year.

Working with councils and funded organisations.

Public funding comes with reporting, and we make that part easier.

A clear scope and quote

Everything agreed in writing before we start, so it’s easy to get sign-off or compare quotes.

Numbers you can use

We pull together the reach, views, engagement and audience growth figures you need for your funding and feedback reports. They’re just as useful when you’re planning next year.

Happy to share the load

We work alongside your comms team and partner organisations, so everyone shares the same message.

Questions festival teams ask us.

How far ahead should we get in touch?

We recommend getting in touch at least 4 months before the festival start date. The build-up usually runs for about 8-12 weeks, and we need a little time before that to plan. If you’re closer than that, get in touch anyway and we’ll tell you honestly what’s possible!

Do you work with free events?

Yes. Whether your event is free, ticketed or a mix of both, we’ll set goals around what matters to you, such as sign-ups, attendance or reach.

Can you start our social media channels from scratch?

Yes. We can set up new channels and build your audience from the ground up, or refresh the channels you already have.

Will you come to the festival?

Yes. On-site content and live coverage are a big part of festival week, and we work with festivals across the UK.

How do you price festival projects?

Each festival is quoted as a project, based on how long it runs, which channels are involved and what you need from us. Get in touch with an outline of what you're looking for and your budget, and we’ll send you a clear quote.

What happens after the festival?

You get a results report and our recommendations for next year. If you’d like to keep your audience engaged between festivals, we can carry on with light-touch content through the year.
